DEUTSCHFEST DINNER DANCE

The German Sister Cities Dinner/Dance/Auction, a major fundraiser is held this year Friday  September 9, 2011 and is a kickoff for St. Charles

Oktoberfest.  Location is Stegton’s Regency Banquet Center.  Doors open at 6:00pm.  Open bar starting at 6:30 throughout the evening.  Food is German and the German music of Pat Auberry make the evening a truly German experience.   For early birds tickets are $45 each if purchased before August 20.  Ticket purchases between August 21 and September 2 are $55 each.  Last minute tickets are $65 each.   For more information contact Vince or Sharon Luetkenhaus at vinshar@charter.net Traditional German attire is encouraged.

Proceeds from the dinner/dance are used to pay for expenses encountered for field trips when German students visit Francis Howell North, Lutheran High, St. Charles High and St. Charles West High.  Scholarships are awarded students who are deserving but who are financially disadvantaged.  Additionally, funds provide airfare for teachers and chaperones for student trips to Ludwigsburg.
